Sea Sunday

Today is being observed as Sea Sunday, when we are asked to remember and pray for seafarers, who spend up to nine months of the year away from home and family to bring to our shores so many of the goods we use every day. We had a collection at the back of church today after mass to support the work of the Apostleship of the Sea whose team of chaplains and ship visitors welcome and support the seafarer while they are in Port. We ask you to keep the seafarers and all their family & friends in your prayers.
