FIRST FRIDAY EVENING VIGIL
Every First Friday of the month beginning September 5th, St Teresa’s will be holding an evening vigil in front of the Blessed Sacrament from 8.30pm until 12.30am.
From the cross Jesus said: “…I thirst..” He is thirsting for souls to come to him and we must respond if we truly love Him and believe He is present in the Blessed Sacrament on the Altar. “ Believe in God and you and your family will be saved” Acts 16:31

Pastoral Area Priests working together
The priests of our pastoral area (including our hospital chaplains) recently decided to share responsibility for the two Sunday evening Masses in our area. Fr Kenny and Fr Leo will take turns with Fr Chris to say the 6.00pm Sunday Mass at St Teresa’s, while the other four priests will form a rota for the 5.00pm Sunday Mass at Blessed Sacrament. During August Fr Chris will be celebrating some of the Sunday morning Masses at HMP Altcourse while other priests who have not been through the  security clearance process for the prison will say the 10.00am Mass at St Teresa’s on those Sundays.

The Joy of the Gospel, September 12th-14th
If you enjoyed reading and reflecting on Pope Francis’s message, why not spend a weekend at Wistaston Hall exploring it further with Fr Brian Maher OMI? The workshop begins at 6.00pm on Friday evening and ends with lunch on Sunday. The cost is £122 fully residential or £80 non-residential, but if that is an obstacle, help towards the cost may be available. Please see Fr Chris or Annie if you are would like to take this opportunity.
