Hearing and Proclaiming the Word: Next Saturday

There are sign-up sheets at the back of the church for the day with Dr Marian Tolley, 10.00am-4.00pm on Saturday 14th February: we hope all our readers will be there and it would be great if some people came along who might like to become readers, but it is also open to anyone who wants to get to know Jesus better and to grow in their ability to  listen and respond to the readings we hear every week.

Can you host a group?

If you are willing to host a group each week during Lent and one week after Easter, at any time of the day, either at home, in the presbytery or elsewhere, for The Call, the Journey and the Mission: an invitation from the Bishops of England and Wales to reflect on the gift of Marriage and Family Life, please complete and hand in one of the forms at the back of the church.

Mass for the 23rd World Day of Prayer for the Sick

This year’s Mass is on Sunday 15 February at 2.00pm in Christ the King and Our Lady’s Church, Queens Drive, Liverpool.

This Mass is an opportunity for us all to show our appreciation and support for the work they do, particularly now, when the Health Service is facing an uncertain future.

Pope Francis has issued a Message to mark the Day – his theme for this year is “I was eyes to the blind, and feet to the lame” (Job 29:15).
