MASS FOR THE BEREAVED  – SUNDAY 1ST NOVEMBER 6PM

Our annual Mass for the Bereaved will be celebrated on Sunday November 1st 2015 at 6pm. During this Mass the names of those who have died during the last year will be called and a member of their family invited to come forward and light a candle in their memory.

Our Journey in Faith group will meet again at 5.00pm on Sunday 8th November. Any adults who want to become Catholic or who have been baptised but not confirmed will be very welcome.

Feast of All Saints.

VATICAN II  AND THE CHURCH TODAY

A weekend conference featuring internationally renowned speakers exploring the continuing impact of the teaching of the Second Vatican Council in the life and mission of both the local and the global Church.  Featured speakers include authority on Vatican II,  Dr Massimo Faggioli, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor and Fr Timothy Radcliffe OP.  Our own Fr Chris will also be speaking. The weekend takes place 14-15 November at the Liverpool Archdiocesan Centre for Evangelisation.  Places must be booked in advance, on a first come first served basis.

The Salesians at Home meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm ( our next meeting is 3rd November) in the Salesian Sisters Convent, Mansion Drive Croxteth. We are a group of people who through a variety of ways have been influenced by the  examples of St John Bosco and Mary Mazzarello in their work with young people. We are always open to new members! Please feel free to join us.

WELCOME – We are delighted to welcome James Martin Charles Curry, Frankie Liggett and Nathan Tomasz Rys who were Baptised into our faith community recently.

The retiring collection this weekend is for the Liverpool Archdiocesan Missionary Project.

SVP – storage area appeal

Can anyone help  the SVP in St Teresa`s find someone who can donate a storage area please. The St Teresa`s SVP is receiving donations of 3 piece suites, beds, cookers, etc. We need somewhere to store the items before we send them out to families in need in our parish. If you have a storage area or you know someone who would donate a storage area can you give the St Teresa`s SVP number a call please on 07763 429 896

Preparing for Baptism 

The next meeting will be at 7.00pm on Wednesday 4th November 2015 for those families planning to have a child Baptised (you do not need to bring the child to the meeting).

Pick up a form from the priests house to fill in and please make sure that you bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate to the meeting.
