The Novena to Our Lady every Tuesday evening at 7.30pm will be held in the Priests house instead of church until further notice. All are very welcome.

HCPT Diamond Jubilee Mass: Monday 2 May 2016 The HCPT Trust is Celebrating its 60th Diamond Jubilee this Year and wishes to share the joy of the Easter Lourdes Jubilee Mass with past Easter Pilgrims and Helpers, Summer Hosanna House Groups and all our supporters with Diamond Jubilee Celebration Masses across the country on Bank Holiday Monday 2 May 2016. One of the Masses is being celebrated at Liverpool’s Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King at 12.00 noon on Monday 2 May to which all pilgrims, helpers and supporters past, present and future are most welcome.

WELCOME We are delighted to welcome Freya Ellie Wheeler, Ava Ellen Steele, & Isaac James Jackson , who were Baptised into our faith community recently.

Preparing for Baptism 

The next meeting will be at 7.00pm on Wednesday 4th May 2016 for those families planning to have a child Baptised (you do not need to bring the child to the meeting).  Pick up a form from the priests house to fill in, please make sure that you bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate to the meeting.

Thankyou for all your donations towards the flowers for our church it is very much appreciated. There are envelopes available for your donations at the back of church.

Foodbank  Many thanks to those who continue to contribute to our Foodbank  Appeal, especially the local Fire Cadets who recently collected a huge amount of food and dropped it off for the foodbank. You are all so very generous. All of the food collected is desperately needed and is passed on to the distribution centre.

Food can be dropped off at the priests house or in the box at the back of church.

SCRIPTURE GROUP – Our Scripture Group continue to meet on Wednesdays to share Scriptures for one hour from 7.30pm in the Priests house. New members are always very welcome.

WORLD YOUTH DAY

Our pastoral area is looking for a young person (18-25) to represent us as part of the Archdiocesan delegation to the World Youth Day pilgrimage with Pope Francis in Krakow, 20th July to 2nd August. It will be a great opportunity to meet with young people, priests and bishops from all over the world. We need someone who will be prepared to speak in our

local churches both before and after the event, be involved in raising funds and generally be an ambassador for our local church with other young people.If you are interested in this opportunity please talk to Fr Chris or contact the parish office.

Debt Advice Service 

Do you have debt problems?

Why not call into the Priests house on Tuesday’s from 10am to 2pm. Tuesday’s from 10am to 2pm

SVP –  St Teresa`s SVP support the parish in many ways. Quite often families in our parish need a microwave or fridge or washing machine etc. Just so they can cook or keep their clothes clean. If your in need of these items or are aware of a family in need please don`t hesitate to contact St Teresa`s SVP on 07763 429 896. The SVP will do a quick visit to see how they can help.

ROSARY  –The Legion of Mary continue to hold their monthly Rosary on the 13th of every month from May to October. The first one of the year will start at 7.30pm on Friday 13th May in St Swithins cemetery at the statue of Our Lady. Everyone is very welcome to join in.
